EMILIA-ROMAGNA TRAVEL GUIDES
About
Chasing Italy
Chasing Italy is an independent editorial publication dedicated exclusively to Emilia-Romagna.
Its purpose is simple: to help travelers discover one of Italy’s most rewarding—and often overlooked—regions through thoughtful guides, practical advice, and first-hand experience.

Why Emilia-Romagna?
Emilia-Romagna is a region of Byzantine mosaics and medieval villages, elegant cities and quiet countryside, celebrated food traditions and family-run trattorias.
It is where centuries-old craftsmanship sits alongside Formula 1 heritage, and where some of Italy’s richest cultural experiences can still be enjoyed without following the usual tourist route.
Yet despite everything it offers, Emilia-Romagna remains surprisingly overlooked by many international visitors.
That is why Chasing Italy was created.

Meet the Founder
Chasing Italy was founded and is independently edited by Jane, a writer based in Emilia-Romagna.
The more time I spent exploring its cities, villages, museums, landscapes, and food traditions, the more convinced I became that Emilia-Romagna deserved far more attention from international travelers.
What started as a personal fascination gradually became Chasing Italy: the thoughtful and practical resource for exploring Emilia-Romagna.
Today, every article reflects my own experiences, research, photography, and editorial standards.
